Our Story — Support, Clarity, and Care

Mentoring Our Moments was founded by Megan, a registered nurse with over 14 years of experience in healthcare, mentoring, and advocacy. Her journey began as a medical assistant and grew through a BSN and MSN at West Coast University — where she graduated with a 4.0 GPA and helped create a student-led mentoring program that became a model for the school.

With credentials including RN, MSN, BSN, PHN, and IBCLC, Megan brings a rare combination of clinical expertise, genuine compassion, and deeply personal experience. Her own breastfeeding challenges with her first child — including tongue and lip ties — sparked a passion for lactation support that led to her IBCLC certification. Her surrogacy journey from 2021 to 2023 deepened her understanding of the emotional complexity families face during major transitions.

Through roles as an OB educator and Quality Management leader, Megan developed a unique perspective on how clinical knowledge and heartfelt advocacy can transform the way families experience care. What began as a calling to help families navigate senior living decisions has grown into a comprehensive mentoring hub for women and families facing life's biggest transitions.

We believe that no one should navigate a major life transition alone — whether that's helping a parent find the right senior living community, breastfeeding for the first time, considering surrogacy, pivoting in a nursing career, or exploring holistic wellness.

A registered nurse with over 14 years of healthcare experience, Megan founded Mentoring Our Moments to ensure no one navigates a major life transition alone. Her personal breastfeeding journey, surrogacy experience, and passion for senior advocacy shape every division of MOM.

    Why Mentoring Our Moments Exists

Every division of Mentoring Our Moments grew from real, lived experience. Our lactation and postpartum support was born from Megan's own breastfeeding struggles and her determination to ensure other mothers feel supported. Our surrogacy mentorship came from walking the surrogacy journey herself. Our nurse career coaching reflects over a decade of navigating the nursing profession — its highs, its burnout, and its many possible paths.

Our Senior Living Advisor division emerged from a deep belief that families deserve nurse-led, relationship-centered guidance during one of life's most emotional transitions — not a sales pitch. We walk alongside families with clinical insight, calm presence, and deep local knowledge of the Scottsdale and greater Phoenix Valley senior living landscape.

Mentoring Our Moments is more than a business — it's a commitment to showing up for people during the moments that matter most.
